Wedding
FAQ
Q:
We can envision lots of fun and excitement having a SkyDancer Inflatable
Dancing Bride & Groom at our reception. Are there any appropriate
uses at the church?
A: Glad
you asked. We don’t believe the display is appropriate inside any church.
However, located near the church entrance, where the reception line
will form at the conclusion of the wedding, your SkyDancer Bride &
Groom will be a smash hit, and an exciting prelude to the reception.
Also,
many wedding ceremonies take place outdoors, in parks, etc., these days.
In such settings a variety of scenarios would serve to enhance the festivity
and excitement of the event.
Q: Will
the noise our SkyDancer Dancing Bride & Groom Display makes interfere
with announcements, music, etc. at our wedding reception?
A: No,
our Whisper Fans employ patented technology
which renders them “quiet as a mouse”.
Q: Will
our SkyDancer Dancing Bride & Groom Air System pose a threat to
the safety of little children?
A: All
SkyDancer Air Systems are manufactured with great care for the safety
of everyone. While little children naturally be drawn to gather around
your Bride & Groom in amazement, they should not be left unattended.
Common sense is the order of the day.
Q: Where
is the best place to locate our SkyDancer Bride & Groom at our reception?
A: The
best place is, of course, wherever you decide is best. Some couples
display them behind the gift table. Others opt to display them behind
the Wedding Cake display. Still others place them on either or both
sides of the stage or along side the music performers. On occasion they
are located right smack in the middle of the dance floor.
Q: Can
we easily move our SkyDancer Dancing Bride & Groom from one place
to another during the course of the reception and dance?
A: By
all means, yes! They weigh only 32 lbs. and are mounted on casters.
Your Grand March will be exciting, memorable, and talked about for years
if you Try This: Place your bride and groom about six feet apart
where your wedding party introductions and grand march will begin. As
the couples of the wedding party are introduced they pass between the
dancing bride and groom which form the columns of an imaginary arch.
At the conclusion of the grand march each couple passes between the
puppets, face one another and form the traditional arch - men on the
groom puppet side, and ladies on the bride puppet side. As you approach
the arch formed by the bride & groom puppets and the members of
your wedding party, just before entering the arch you each give a big
hug to one of the legs of the appropriate puppet. Then you pass between
them, entering the arch. This scenario will bring the house down!
Q: Can
arrangements be made with our reception hall to have the SkyDancer Inflatable
Bride & Groom Display on hand for our reception, or must we make
arrangements directly with SkyDancers Unlimited?
A: At
present, because of the newness of the display, there are not a lot
of reception halls which own the display. Nor are there many wedding
apparel rental shops which offer them. We hope that will change in the
near future. As a matter of fact, we offer engaged couples and newlyweds
a unique opportunity and incentive to help us in that regard.
