Q:
Can SkyDancer Inflatable Dancing Displays be used outdoors, as well
is indoors?
A: Yes, we will match
up your puppets with the SkyDancer Air Systems most appropriate for
your intended use.
Q: Are extension cords
compatible with SkyDancer Air Systems?
A: If extension cords are required, make sure that they are at least
10 gauge, industrial quality cords, which can handle the power draw,
and never exceed 25' in length. Under-rated cords or cords that are
too long may overheat and cause damage to the blower. If the location
of the blower is remote, a gas powered generator may be required.
Q: What do I do about
electrical power if I want to use my SkyDancer Inflatable Dancing Displays
outdoors and there is no outlet nearby?
A: Generators are
readily available almost everywhere. We will advise you concerning what
type and how powerful a generator is needed. We’ll even help you make
arrangements for rental or purchase of a generator. Please see our Links

Q: What about wind?
Will wind interfere with or prevent me from using my SkyDancer Inflatable
Display?
A: Well, this is one
of those yes & no answers. Wind, up to a point, becomes your ally
when using your SkyDancer Inflatable Display outdoors, because it enhances
the movement - “dancing motion” - of the puppet. But when you get to
winds of 25-30 mph it’s time to succumb to the old adage: “Sometimes
you just can’t beat Mother Nature." We’ll discuss your intended
use of your SkyDancer Inflatable Display, and recommend the air system
most appropriate for you before you buy, lease or rent.
Q: What about rain?
Do I have to shut my SkyDancer Inflatable Display down whenever it rains?
B: SkyDancer
Inflatable Display Systems are not designed to operate in wet conditions
where moisture may short circuit the electrical components. Air Systems
used in possible wet conditions, or intermittent mild sprinkles, should
be connected to a ground fault interrupt protected circuit to shut off
the power in the vent of a short.
Q: What safety issues
are involved in the use of the SkyDancer
Inflatable Displays?
A: SkyDancer Inflatable
Display Systems are not toys and should never be operated or placed
where unattended children might suffer harm by touching moving or electrical
parts. Adult supervision of the equipment is required at all times.
Q: Which SkyDancer
Puppet is most universal in terms of theme?
A: Without question,
Jester is the most universal. But we have puppets for everything imaginable
from Demons to Angels, from animals to people from all walks of life,
and on and on and on.
Q: What if I don’t
see the character I want in your Gallery
of Characters?
A: If you see a green
alien, but would rather it be orange, just let us know. We’ll make any
character in whatever color you desire. Also, if you envision a character
you don’t see in our Gallery, just
let us know.
